Our Peony Varieties

Here are some of the varieties we grow – listed by when they bud within the season. We grow all the popular varieties as well as some rare selections that are hard to find grown commercially elsewhere.

Early Season Peonies

Coral Sunset

Large buds and flower opening coral-pink fading to creamy-lemon.

Red Charm

The most popular and widely grown red peony. A full petalled ‘bomb’ shaped flower.

Lemon Chiffon

A large flowering striking showpiece of pure opulence.

Belgravia

Early flowering fully double red, huge in both bud and flower.

Carnation Bouquet

A very early flowering pink exhibiting rose-shaped characteristics in bud.

Cytherea

Large bright pink buds opening to enormous pink flowers with contrasting yellow stamens.

Bridal Gown

Impressive double flowering white peony.

Bridal Shower

A reliable fragrant white exhibiting some pale lemon petals towards centre.

Mid Season Peonies

Kansas

A reliable and favourite here on the farm. Perfectly presented fuchsia pink, attractive in bud.

Lorelai

A rare and extraordinary peony, a true colour changing superstar. Hard to describe its colour, orange-pink in bud changing to combinations of orange, peach, pink and cream.

Etched Salmon

An absolute favourite here on the farm, perfect in every way, as if designed by a florist. A wonderfully shaped full petalled salmon-pink peony of great beauty.
