Magnificent peonies grown in the Welsh Borders

I’m still reeling from my visit to Border Peonies. In the claggy clay of Herefordshire, their peonies are thriving. Over 100 varieties – HUGE heads, and scented too! I was blown away.

Our promise

Top Quality & Sustainable

We have carefully chosen varieties to provide a reliable supply in a wide range of colours throughout the season from mid-May to late-June. Our peonies are high quality and British-grown. They are a sustainable alternative to the imported peonies flown in from Holland or even further afield.

Peony Specialists

We only grow peonies – which means we really know our peonies! We can supply sensational stems in the colour and volume you need. Once cut our stems are immediately refrigerated to maintain bud quality and freshness – this ensures that the blooms are at their most voluptuous just when you need them to shine.

Working with Nature

We cannot control the seasons, as all our peonies are grown under the skies in the glorious border country of the Welsh Marches, where Herefordshire meets Shropshire and mid-Wales.
Our peonies are grown with as little intervention as possible in our rich loamy soil. There is certainly no need for artificial irrigation with our plentiful rainfall!

Smart Delivery

We deliver our blooms in the right condition to be at their best when you need them. We have a regular courier service to your door. Minimum order 15 stems.
